I can’t tell how excited I am to finally share these bridal portraits with you all !!
I grew up in a small town in the southest part of Austria where the nature is breathtaking beautiful. Back there, as a young girl, I wasn’t always that aware of all the beauty around me… But in the meanwhile 13 years after moving to Vienna, each time visiting the place of my roots, I am speechless of this unique nature.
So, it was high time to capture a part of this special places on film, including a beautiful woman who is wearing a glamorous wedding gown. Located 10 kilometers away from my parents’ home there is a beautiful riverbed named ‘Schütt’. The rocks ,wich fell down after a huge seismic in the past, are as white as snow, and even when you are standing in front of them, you still couldn’t believe that they are real.
Always since I got into photography, I kept on thinking about shooting there a sensual riverbed wedding inspiration and at the beginning of last November this idea finally turned into reality. A small group of creatives came together and realized my vision. Brigitte, a real whizz-kid from Carinthia – she plans weddings, is running an agency and organizes events all over Austria – rounded up the team for our shoot. Elke Sommer, who did a wonderful makeup for our beautiful model Verena, also was part of this wonderful team. Evelyn Kühr, a very talented florist from Carinthia bonded the lovely bouquet and Christina Taupe, the owner of Brautgeflüster, provided this romantic wedding dress made by Felicita Design.
Thanks to Susanne Schuhmann from Hochzeitsguide, by the way – one of the best wedding blogs in Europe, for sharing this shoot too – hop over to her blog to see more pics of this sensual riverbed wedding inspiration (klick) !
