From the very beginning Kathrin and Simon had a clear vision about how their wedding should be and what it should look like. They wanted to spend their day with family and friends true to the theme Industrial Chic. That´s the plan they had in mind when they started organizing. From the perfect location for the ceremony (which isn´t as easy to find in Vienna as one might think) and the matching and appropriate location for the reception to a reliable helping hand who realizes all their visions of an Industrial wedding in Vienna. Marie-Eve and Claus chose the beautiful Lombardy as their perfect wedding location. Lake Iseo is situated amidst the picturesque scenery of the mountains and is not as touristy as Lake Maggiore or Lake Como. On the biggest lake island – Monte Isola – you’ll find Castello Oldofredi, the location they chose for their wedding. Here you not only have unique lakeviews but also can enjoy the most beautiful sunsets.

Do you remember the engagement shoot I did with Marie-Eve and Claus in Vienna? Back then I already mentioned their incredible destination wedding plans for their personal ceremony at Lake Iseo in Italy. My heart started beating like crazy and I was mesmerized by the unique beauty of this place.

I think it was a great idea that the talented Raphaela and her team continued this theme within the wedding design and decoration. Everything looked harmonious and elegant, the ball room was lovingly laid and the flower decoration on the tables mirrored Andrea´s bridal bouquet.

Since I was asked by many of my couples in the last years how I even became a wedding photographer in the first place, I thought this year´s posting premiere would be the perfect moment to tell you all about it.

When I started to devote myself to wedding photography there was one woman that caught my attention right away. I guess most of you have already heard about her and I´m very proud to say I was her assistant for two wedding seasons. I´m talking about no less a person than ..

Getting asked by a stylish and filmphotography-affine couple of graphic designers to shoot their autumn wedding at the Weingut Reisenberg feels like winning the lottery. And waiting for their decision made me feel like a little girl counting the days to her birthday. As soon as they decided to engage me I started to simmer towards this special day in fall when they were going to tie the knot.
