Some days ago I spent a beautiful and funny afternoon with Silke, Rupi, Klara and sweet little Nora in the middle of a wheatfield. Silke is a dear coworker of mine and wanted to organize a shooting with her three sweethearts to fill their walls at home with everlasting memories. Kids grow up too fast and it´s so important to capture certain moments and special parts in their lives on camera.
Besides Silke and Rupi – who got married six years ago – don´t have a lot of breathtaking pictures taken on their wedding day. So this shooting was the perfect occasion to catch up with that and add a classic „after-wedding-shooting“. Silke slipped into her gorgeous dress again and shined brighter than the sun! Watch out for my next posting where I´m going to tell you more about that. Today it´s all about the family-shooting
So back to the wheatfield… Unfortunately one day before the shooting the farmer said he had to crop the wheat, so all that was left for us was a fallow field full of wheat stubbles instead of spikes blowing in the wind… But whatever, we made the best out of it and it turened out to be even better: who knows if we would have seen the two girls cute skirts among the high wheat otherwise?!?
These four are such a warm-hearted and likable family. It was my pleasure to capture this feeling on camera. I had so much fun and it still makes me smile everytime I look at the result.
Dear Silke, dear Rupi… Thank you very much for the delicious snacks at your comfy home and for sharing this inspiring afternoon with me. It was great spending this evening with you!
